The truck backed the dumpster into my house causing severed damage! Still will not take responsibility even though I have ring cam video of the entire thing!
11-11-2021Things have only gotten worse! The case was closed without budget dumpster doing anything.
The plus side of that is that we were finally done with them. The sub-contracter gave us $380 which was the cost of the dumpster rental. We ate the cost of fixing our home. Now a little over a month later we got a bill from Budgetdumpster for $300 saying that we put 5 tons in the dumpster when we were only allowed 1 ton.
Considering we only put 6 juniper trees and a couple of pieces of wood from an old shed in it, there is no possible way it could have gone over. The dumpster was not even close to being full. The sub-contractor picked this dumpster up from our home at 4:23 am....it arrived at the dump just before 10 am. (Dump opens at 6) Where was this dumpster for 5-1/2 hours?
Not to mention the fact that whatever was put into this dumpster during those 5-1/2 hours added up to an extra $300!!!! Does not seem like a coincidence that this overage cost and the amount that the sub-contracter gave us is almost the same!
I guess they got me....right?? I will never understand how companies like these continue to screw people and get away with it!
We had it all on video so there was no denying what had happened. I called and they told me they take damage claims very seriously and would start the investigation immediately. I sent the pictures via email on Friday night right after it happened but could not get the video to go through due to our Internet. Monday morning I received a message saying the driver claims nothing happened therefore we cannot be financially responsible.
They never asked for the video or any follow up information. They simply closed the case. (My video showed the truck backing in, slamming into my house, putting it back in drive and readjusting the truck. The facia was pulled off and several roof tiles crashed to the concrete below.
Once he got the dumpster in to my driveway, He got out of the truck to pick up all of the smashed tiles and threw them into the dumpster) I was finally able to send the video on Monday, 10/11/2021. After seeing the video he Claimed that the driver got out of the truck to pick up some debris from my driveway. He claimed he was doing it as a favor to me. I tried to call in after all of this to get some help but was told David Ralph was the only supervisor who handled this.
Unfortunately, he is the same person that claims that I cannot believe the video that I am seeing with my own eyes. Absolutely do not use this company!
Today alone I have spent most of the day dealing with David Ralph and am still no closer to an answer than I was when I woke up. I keep trying to upload the video but it will not accept it)

Prepare to Be Overcharged
I had two dumpsters from Budget Dumpster. A week after writing my review, I was also charged an additional $149 on the second dumpster.
This outfit hits everyone with overcharges. There is no way of knowing this unless you read the reviews.
This company just hires contractors to pickup and deliver the dumpsters and then overcharges everyone. BEWARE!
Be Prepared to Be Overcharged
I ordered a 3 ton dumpster to get rid of household debris from my basement and garage. There was nothing exceptionally heavy, and a lot of the debris was old boxes.
The dumpster was about 7/8 full.
Just got a bill that I owed an extra $120. They said that my dumpster was 2.4 tons over the limit which is 80% more than what they allow.
If you go to Trust Pilot, Yelp or the BBB you will see a lot of reviews just like mine and the review you are going to write if you ever use this outfit.
I shall also add that before I got this over the weight limit charge, I had ordered another dumpster where I was charged, the delivery confirmed, my clean out crew scheduled and the dumpster never showed up. They then let me know that it would be a minimum of 1 week before they could get another dumpster to the house. Furthermore, they did finally refund my money for the dumpster, and I had to pay the crew just for showing up.
Unfortunately, my experience was not over. They continued to send me notices that I was going to be charged late fee's for not scheduling a pickup on the dumpster they failed to deliver.
It took 2 phone calls and 3 emails to prevent these charges.
I hope my dealings with this outfit are over. As a senior citizen on a fixed income, I cannot afford their unsubstantiated overweight fee's.

Dumpster delivered was different than website
Website says 15 yard dumpster was going to be 16' length x 4.5' tall x 7.5' wide. Website says dumpster's may vary slightly but volume will be accurate.
Discussed at order that the length was needed. Dumpster delivered was 10' long x 6' tall. length was unusable for my project.
(Contractor in my area doesn't even have 16' lengths. They refuse to refund, and are standing by the volume and not their listed dimensions.
User's recommendation: Ask for specific dimensions of dumpster.
Don’t use this dumpster service
Fist time ever using a dumpster service for a move and boy, I wish I didnt! First of all the dumpster was way to big for residential.
The driver damaged my driveway bringing it in. Then I called to tell them and asked them to be careful when they pick up. The next day my driveway is damaged even the more so which it could in fact decrease the value of my house that Im moving from so I can sell. Now, not only doI have to finish moving and packing, but I also have to figure out how to fix my driveway!
Im already stressed enough and I did this for connivence! I wish I read the reviews will file BBB complaint but looks like there is already plenty

Had rented a dumpster for 10 day was done with it in 4 called I wanted removed they waited until the 10th day to remove it making me wait couldn't start another project that I had pending, they are not trustworthy....another company delivers and pickup when called. Forget these people...used other companies.

Disappointed
It has been four days and we still havent received our rental roll off since its original date. For two days they also didnt bother to reach out to us to tell us they werent coming.
At this point Im very disappointed.
Customer service is great and friendly, but service its self is not so great. They need to do better with accountability from dispatch.

Hello,
I am completely dissatisfied with your Company. I informed your admin@***t dumpster email if I did not get a refund by today I would be sending you a 30 day notice of intent to sue.
While this email does not serve that purpose it does inform you that your business practices will be under investigation.
While my $449.
00 you took from me last month does not seem like much to a big corporate company doing business in the United States and grossing millions each year, I believe you fraud many people, and those fees add up really quick. I am fairly sure you did not single me out.
Along with a complaint already filed with the better business bureau I will ask the state of California as well as the other states you do business in to look into your business practices. I will also be reaching out to as many media outlets as I can find contact info for and we shall see how your 2022 year end return for your shareholders looks then.
The phone calls, contract, emails and text messages from me to your company are my evidence. The contract I agreed to will serve as the foundation for my suit.
The lack of communication after the non delivery of my dumpster on my scheduled date is appalling.
Not one of your company representatives has reached out to me or emailed me about refunding me. They have however texted me to remind me about scheduling my pickup (of a dumpster that was never delivered) before I accrue more charges.
I have sent several emails.
Since not one individual will respond I will be filing in court, and I will also be seeking damages and legal fees.
I read my contract really well. I realize that Covid might have changed a few things for your company but this is not a way to treat your customers.
I implore you going forward to train your representatives a little better unless this is your business model.
My 30 day intent to sue will be arriving soon.

We used a company and were not happy with the results. A young man that was helping us said he had a family member that works for Budget Dumpster. Diann Trowbridge wanted to give them a try but Christopher Metcalfe checked out reviews and was skeptical. She called and a salesmen assured her that they were past all this and are a great company.
He also talked her into a bigger dumpster.. The same size dumpster was in the spot last month from another company with no problems!!! The problem started with the delivery of the dumpster. It was late - the driver did even get out of his cab and announced that our property is unsafe and his dumpster will turn over.
After 2 requests for him to come and look he refused to exit the cab of his truck. So we asked him to leave if it was not safe for him. Then he came out of his cab and took pictures of our property not where we wanted the dumpster!!! .
We were contacted by a young lady from Budget Dumpster - she informed us that we owed them $100.00 for coming out; she only would give us a first name. i asked to speak with a supervisor - she put us on hold for 1 hour. I called back while 1 phone was on hold and got a supervisor Zachary he said he was as high as we can go but he could not make a decision . Later that evening we got a text from the company saying that they are going to charge us $150.00 for a trip charge.
I called another dumpster company - the one I used before they sent out a supervisor and a dumpster will be here in the morning. Alleged overweight charges
I sent pictures as requested but never received a response back. I ordered a 10 yard dumpster.
I received a 15 yd dumpster from Falgi which was a piece of garbage itself all falling apart. The flooring was wood and all rotted out. It was loaded with broken glass (large mirror type) which was all over the bottom of the dumpster when it arrived and which wound up all over my driveway as well as some wood. I'm still finding some glass.
The dumpster was a little more than 1/2 way full but not quite 3/4 way. There is NO WAY it was over a ton. I was finished the same day it was delivered. I called for pick up the following day but your schedule could not accommodate me.
Hence, I had to wait until Friday, 5/14. I took pictures of the broken up dumpster and all the glass and some wood. Then I took a picture of the side which showed it was a 15 yd and finally took pictures of the dumpster when I was finished loading my stuff. I can see by the reviews that I am not the only person who has experienced this scam.
I will be reporting to the Attorney General. No way was it over a ton.
User's recommendation: Stay away! Wish I would have read the reviews prior to dealing with them. Approximately 3 wks after they charged my credit card for overage. The dumpster wasn’t even 3/4 way full. Plus a 15 yd dumpster was sent instead of the 10 yd as contracted which would obviously weigh more yet they allegedly calculated as per the 10 yd. the $420 rental fee was a big rip off. Received an old banged up dumpster with a rotted out wooden floor which arrived with both large and small pieces of glass, wood and debris still in the dumpster. Once picked up two days later there was glass all over my driveway. Got scammed like many others
Valuable feedback for Company and Consumers
I do not recommend this company called Budget Dumpster. Com.
They were terrible and wasted a lot of time trying to get a dumpster delivered (1Week) they will tell you one thing and then after charging credit card change the timelines for deliver saying it's not their fault which may be true because they use a third party for moving and Budget does not actually have any Dumpsters.
They were terrible answering the phone and multiple disconnects after holding for prolonged times. Please avoid Budget Dumpster prolonged time.

They won't pick up their dumpster in a timely manner.
I rented a 30 yard dumpster for 10 days. If I didn't schedule the dumpster to be picked up prior to the rental period, I am charged; however now that I requested a pickup they are not willing do do so for another 30 days minimum and are treating my driveway like a free storage facility for their dumpster. I asked respectfully for an alternative and they just said they were "sorry for the inconvenience"'.

Resolved: Crap service, and crap people skills
Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with product or service ordered. The ordered service was provided after 177 hours of complaints.
review will not change. Use mom and pop shops or amazon will rule the world..
The delivery was 13 hours 49 minutes after promised which was after me complaining for 17 hours with no response from budget.. I now have learned my lesson and will not use another pimp site.
Yellow pages here I come. God bless all mom and pop shops who answer their phones.
I ordered the dumpster and scheduled a crew 3 days before the project!!!! No dumpster and no calls , emails, or text. Here I sit with a crew that is costing me while Budget is heading up a circle jerk....

Beyond poor service
We found, at first, Budget Dumpster to be friendly, professional and helpful. After the initial phone call to set up delivery we have been ignored and brushed off.
The delivery was a day late. We are still waiting after 5 days for the dumpster to be picked up. The phone representative is pleasant and apologetic but cant help us because they arent a manager and answer questions and help.
We have waited on hold for 45 minutes to an hour to get no results. DO NOT USE BUDGET DUMPSTER!!!!!

BAD SERVICE
The service here is horrible. We ordered a dumpster to be delivered May 21, 2021 and it's not delivered.
I started calling at 5:00 pm yesterday trying to get an ETA. No one will provide an answer and anyone who does answer the phone simply transfers the call to a line that doesn't get answered.
Also, the 'hold' music is horrible. Very disappointedNone

CROOKS - BILLING RIPOFF - STAY FAR, FAR AWAY FROM
This place is a broker RIPOFF ARTIST. Subcontract containers from local companies, send you endless forms of terms and conditions so they can OVER CHARGE for overages that do not occur and charge your credit card. When you contact CC company to contest charges Budget sent CC company endless forms showing how you "agreed to their terms" DO NOT EVER USE!!!!!!
